I said reverse racism in a sarcastic manner. I made this point with respect to efficiency of providing help not criticizing favouritism or partiality. Sorry for not making that clear. My concern was/is that we may lose an opportunity to provide a larger population assistance in an efficient manner via scaling up. The lack of data prevents this identification. It is important to look at dis-aggregated data to find unique solutions.

I like how you emphasize that they both figures are needed. Not just one figure in a child's life

Reverse rascism- oof now that hurts. Because focusing on one kind of solution could end up poisoning the others.

The point about asking the students who are successful, is a very good perspective. What works most of the time is disregarded when the majority is in some sort of slump. That outlook on asking where it hurts does not provide the medicine that someone else might be using to treat their wounds.

I like the analysis of the control group, where it only focuses on what the study wanted to focus on and disregard the other 3% that could have been used to benefit others. The other topic on where the environment is set being at home, is fundamental. At times off course there are situations where there could be students who does not have a stabilized household. That's where the extension of the stable environment comes to school
